Alex Checkovich is an instructor of “the body in space” at the University of Richmond, where he teaches freshmen seminars called “Nature-,” “Technology-,” and “Health in American History.” His true love is inventing/discovering Oulipo nonfictions, hermit-crab essays, and prose hybrids of unw□nted intricacy. His works have appeared in Territory, Passages North, PANK, Seneca Review, Fiction International, and The Decadent Review, among others.
